The Recent Contributions to Physics is a peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to the publication of significant research in the field of physical sciences and the methodology of physics education, with particular emphasis on higher education. It serves as a global platform for researchers, scholars, and professionals to present innovative theoretical, computational, and experimental studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the physical sciences. The journal is published four times a year.
The journal publishes original research articles and review papers that expand the understanding of fundamental principles of physical models and experimental methods across various branches of physics. Recent Contributions to Physics
is a peer-reviewed academic journal publishing original research and review articles that make a significant contribution to the development of fundamental and applied physics.
The journal provides an international platform for theoretical, computational, and experimental studies addressing current problems in physical sciences, including interdisciplinary research and applications of physical methods and models in science and technology.
Articles are published in the following subject areas:
✔ Theoretical physics. Nuclear and particle physics. Astrophysics
✔ Plasma physics
✔ Condensed matter physics and materials science. Nanoscience
✔ Thermal physics and theoretical heat engineering
✔ Nonlinear physics. Radiophysics
✔ Physics education and methodology of teaching physics, with particular emphasis on higher education and the training of specialists in physics, engineering, and related STEM fields.
Compliance with international publishing standards – the journal follows the recommendations of COPE, ICMJE, and the principles of academic integrity, including transparency in peer review and editorial policies.
International editorial board – composed of experts from different countries, ensuring a diverse and high-quality peer-review process.
Rigorous peer-review system – double-blind peer review involving at least two independent reviewers for each manuscript.
Creative Commons licensing – articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which permits sharing and adaptation of the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source.
DOI assignment – all published articles receive a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring accurate citation and long-term accessibility.
Open Access model – Gold Open Access with an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 60,000 ₸; all articles are freely available online immediately after publication.
Plagiarism screening – all manuscripts undergo mandatory plagiarism checks using specialized software prior to acceptance.
Author support – editorial assistance with manuscript preparation in accordance with international standards (IMRaD structure, references, metadata).
