Baimbetov, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan,  is an all-known scientific theoretical physicist, the founder of the Kazakhstan scientific school of plasma physics, the author of the kinetic theory of dense gases with a non-additive potential of interparticle interaction and the pseudopotential theory of non-ideal plasma
