Abstract

The effective resonance interaction of nuclei in the Coulomb crystal created by the rescattering of a free neutron on the nuclei of the crystalline lattice was obtained.  Resonances in the lattice appear at the low energies of neutron, close to the energy of two-body neutron-nucleus resonance, and at extremely high pressures that are characteristic of neutron stars’ envelopes. The influences of resonances on the properties of superdense crystalline structures and the EOS of matter were discussed.
