Properties of exotic mesons in relativistic quark model

Abstract

In this work it is explored the consequences of treating the X (3872) meson as a tetraquark bound state by analyzing its one-photon decay, in relativistic quark model with infrared confinement.

For a reasonable value of the size parameter of the X (3872) meson it was found the consistency with the available experimental data. To introduce electromagnetism is gauged a nonlocal effective Lagrangian describing the interaction of the X (3872) meson with its four constituent quarks. Also it was calculated the matrix element of the transition   and proved its gauge invariance, as well as the  decay width and the longitudinal/transverse composition of the  in this decay is evaluated.
